Muthayammal College of Arts & Science was founded in 1994 by Thiru K.P. Ramaswamy — a visionary entrepreneur and proud son of Rasipuram — to bring quality higher education within reach of the rural youth of Namakkal District.
Today it stands as an autonomous institution affiliated to Periyar University. At the Silver Jubilee in 2019, it united with Muthayammal Polytechnic Institution and Muthayammal College of Education under the Vanetra identity — three colleges, one inspiring legacy.
